Neoverge Architects was founded in 2011 by architects Ar. P. Parvathy Kartha and Ar. G. Naveen with a shared vision of creating architecture that is thoughtful, contextually responsive, and rooted in sustainable design principles. Since its inception, the practice has embraced a multidisciplinary approach, combining architecture, planning, design research, and user experience to create spaces that are functional, enduring, and meaningful.

The firm’s design philosophy has been shaped by the founders’ academic backgrounds, professional experiences, and continuous pursuit of learning. Both architects graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli.

Ar. P. Parvathy Kartha completed her Master’s in Planning at Anna University, Chennai, including a semester of study at the University of South Australia (UniSA), Adelaide. Ar. G. Naveen pursued a Master’s in Design at the National Institute of Design (NID), Bengaluru, specializing in Retail Design.

Her early professional training under Ar. Shankar Kannade and Ar. Navnath Kannade at Shilpa Sindoor, and his experience with Ar. Sanjay Mohe at Mindspace Architects, laid the foundation for their architectural thinking—an approach that values simplicity, climate responsiveness, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for context.

Driven by a shared passion for environmentally responsible architecture, both founders underwent specialized training at the Auroville Earth Institute, learning sustainable construction techniques including Compressed Stabilized Earth Blocks (CSEB), arches, vaults, domes, and other eco-friendly building systems. These principles continue to influence Neoverge’s approach to design and construction.

Ar. P. Parvathy Kartha

Parvathy’s professional journey began with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and CDE, where she gained valuable experience in planning and infrastructure projects before co-founding Neoverge. Her expertise spans architecture, urban planning, and research-driven design.

She recently served as the Team Lead for the Master Plan of Tiruchirappalli, contributing to the city’s long-term urban development vision. Her research on residential location choice behaviour in Tier-II cities explores how people make housing decisions based on factors such as accessibility, infrastructure, lifestyle, and affordability. This research is currently being developed into an AI and Machine Learning-based decision support model aimed at helping individuals identify the most suitable residential locations in any city.

Alongside her professional practice, Parvathy has been actively involved in architectural education. She has served as a faculty member at NIT Tiruchirappalli and continues to contribute as a Visiting Faculty, mentoring the next generation of architects.

Beyond architecture, she is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and completed her Arangetram in 2022, reflecting her deep appreciation for art, discipline, and cultural traditions.

Ar. G. Naveen

Naveen’s career bridges architecture, retail experience design, exhibition design, and design education. His early professional experience with Bharti Walmart involved research on retail planning strategies for large-format hypermarkets in India. He later joined Levi Strauss & Co. as a DesignerNew Store Opening (Visual Merchandising), where he played a key role in designing consistent retail experiences across more than 400 stores throughout India.

His multidisciplinary expertise extends beyond professional practice into academia and curriculum development. He has contributed to the development of a three-year Interior Design curriculum as a member of the Curriculum Committee at Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, and has also designed the curriculum for a unique undergraduate Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) programme for an autonomous institution.

More recently, Naveen served as Senior Designer – Projects at the National Institute of Design (NID), where he was part of the team that designed the India Pavilion for the Frankfurter Buchmesse in Frankfurt, Germany, one of the world’s most significant international book fairs.

Outside the studio, Naveen is a lifelong learner with a passion for Hindustani flute and woodworking, interests that continually influence his appreciation for craftsmanship, rhythm, materiality, and detail.

Our Philosophy

At Neoverge, we believe that architecture should do more than create buildings—it should enrich lives, strengthen communities, and respond thoughtfully to its environment. Every project begins with understanding people, place, and purpose before translating those insights into meaningful design.

Our multidisciplinary background in architecture, planning, retail design, research, and education enables us to approach every project with curiosity, technical rigour, and creativity. Whether designing homes, institutional campuses, commercial spaces, or urban environments, we strive to create architecture that is sustainable, contextually rooted, and timeless.

For us, every project is an opportunity to combine design thinking, research, innovation, and craftsmanship to create spaces that inspire and endure.
